Abretio Design Studio has been involved in a Conservative Renovation of Ca’ of the Bishop: An old village shop that has become a unique holiday home.
The aim was to keep the evocative atmosphere of this ancient structure intact as much as possible, respecting its materials and history and making it comfortable and welcoming.
Customers' request was as follows: A functional holiday home, but feature, to be used for short-term rentals. That it has four to six beds. Comfortable bathroom that maintains existing features as much as possible.
So we started with the complete renovation of the plumbing and electrical systems, necessary because they are very old. We have chosen the installation of epoxy resin for the floor, specially treated to be ancient and worn by time.
