
EDIT NAPLES 2022 – OROGRAPHIES
Abretio Design has been selected, between over 2000 Candidates, To participate as designer to a Workshop promoted by Orographies, well-known company in Catania that designs Design-oriented furniture, made mainly by local artisans.
Therefore, a few weeks before our holidays in Naples, We found ourselves here again, to Edit Naples!

EDIT NAPLES – What is it??
The Workshop was held in the beautiful scenery of Anden Naples, The fair dedicated to editorial and author design, in its Fourth Edition.
The goal of Edit Napoli is to support and promote a new concept of design based on territoriality, Sustainability and quality in spite of quantity, with production processes that combine craftsmanship with design in replicable pieces.


THE WORKSHOP
The Workshop “Emersivi“, dedicated to young designers under 30, required a product that addressed the “New rites of living” with a particular focus on self-care or food and beverage.
Andrew, that in our studio is dedicated to the Product design, For four days he was able to work together with others 25 Young designers from different countries.
Andrea has designed a piece of furniture, specifically a piece of furniture, which is aimed at all those who want to take care of themselves through their passion or hobby, whatever it is. An elegant and innovative piece of furniture which can perform multiple functions, A project that was highly appreciated by the jury and colleagues.

The jury, composed of world-renowned architects, as the winner of the Compasso d'oro Giulio IACCHETTI and other big names including: Francesca LANZAVECCHIA, Vincenzo CASTELLANA, Giorgia BARTOLINI, Domitilla DARDI, Emilia PETRUCCELLI, has decreed as winners three young designers who have brought excellent projects.
One of the winners is the’architect and light designer Silvia dell'Orco placeholder image that brought a beautiful innovative project, with whom we are excited to collaborate on new projects!

We return home enthusiastic about this important experience that has given us knowledge and new opportunities for collaboration with other operators in the sector.
