A partial renovation has allowed this living room to have a total metamorphosis
The project:
We were faced with a living room that, despite being part of a house renovated a few years ago, had several problems:
a partition divided the kitchen from the living room, creating a closed and dimly lit environment;
A low wall separated the entrance from the living area, being bulky and not very functional.
The goal of the project was to create a unique space, Bright and functional, that met the customer's needs.
BEFORE & AFTER
The solution:
We decided to demolish both partitions to create a large and airy open space. This allowed natural light to flood the kitchen, making it a more welcoming and livable place. The kitchen area has been delimited with a new dark stone-effect tile floor, that integrates perfectly with the modern and minimalist style desired by the customer.
This choice was necessary because the customer did not have existing tiles and the company had stopped producing them two years earlier.
The kitchen
The kitchen, custom-designed by us, was created by Tulipano Arredamenti.
The refrigerator column and the oven column allow easy use and installation of the microwave oven. While the worktop has been extended by creating a peninsula that delimits the kitchen with the rest of the living room.
To further improve lighting, We installed an elongated false ceiling with spotlights oriented towards the work area and adjustable and dimmable under-cabinet LEDs.
The result:
The renovation has completely transformed the living room, making it a bright environment, modern and functional. The customer was thrilled with the result, that fully met his expectations.
