
Andrew, Finalist of the’ Agorà Design Contest 2021, with his project Cubicò
The project was selected among the finalists of the prestigious biennial competition-event in Martano, in the province of Lecce, themed “Hyperlocal: Architecture and design from the territories”, organized by Agorà Design.
The prestigious competition saw the participation of names that have given prestige to architecture and design such as Stefano Boeri, Benedetta Tagliabue, Walter Mariotti, Marco Rainò and Francesco Pagliari.
The theme of the competition was the proposal of projects characterized by functionality and environmental sustainability, describing innovative uses and applications of materials.
The project, an outdoor area for clubs, S stands out for its innovative use of olive wood, A typical material of the Ligurian territory. Andrew, wanting to enhance the characteristics of this precious wood, has created an original and sustainable project.
